German drugstore leader dm has announced a partnership with Demeter, the largest certification organisation for biodynamic agriculture. The organic association already has an organic label which it only uses for its own products. It has now developed a seal which can be used on retailers’ private label products.

Aldi Nord and Süd Consider Closer Cooperation

Sister companies Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord are reportedly considering a closer cooperation in buying and other operational areas. A legal joining of the sourcing departments could result from the harmonisation and synchronisation of all “assortments and processes”.

Aldi Süd Enters Italy with Customised Concept
